Tracie Woidtke on Shareholder Activism
Tracie Woidtke, professor and Finance Department Head, is researching topics including exempt proxy solicitations. She is looking into the effects of communication among shareholders and increased activism with the goal of determining whether low-cost mechanisms can influence a company to act in shareholders’ best interests.
